Hi, planning on going to Tioman island at end of April, we have 15 days and not sure that would be too long to spend in one place so would like to break the holiday into two. We dont want to spend any time in KL or Singapore, has anybody any suggestions as somewhere either beachy/jungly which is is reasonably easy to get to from Tioman?

Tioman is fantastic, but 15 days there might send you stir crazy. In terms of places which are easy to get to from Tioman I suppose that it depends on whether you are getting the ferry or flying. If you are flying from either KL or Singapore there are all sorts of destinations you can get to. My choice would be to go to Kota Kinabalu on Borneo. Bit of everything there. Jungles, beaches and shopping. If you are getting the ferry it would make sense to stick around the east coast of peninsular Malaysia, maybe Redang for example or some over the other island groups.
