Best journey (not by air)

We are wanting to travel from Johor Bahru to KLIA without using the plane. Can anyone suggest a train/ coach/taxi alternative or a combination of all 3 that will be both enjoyable and reasonable, please?

Our ultimate destination is LCCT for an internal flight but we want to do it liesurely.

Many thanks

Train will take between 5.5 hours and about 7 hours from JB - depends on which train you catch. It is an OK ride, but not that much to see. The advantage is that the train will stop at KL Sentral Station - form here you can get a coach direct to LCCT.

Bus is quicker and takes about 4.5 hours. Bus will likely stop at Puduraya Bus Station - but there are other places they stop or drop off.

You would then need to get a taxi to LCCT or go by taxi to Sentral Station and then get the coach.

Both of the above services are quite inexpensive.

Depending upon your timings, there%26#39;s a sleeper service on the trains that is apparently very good. Slower trains to allow a reasonable sleep and obviously you wouldn%26#39;t see much until sunrise, but we%26#39;re finding it a very convenient way to fit in a quick visit to Singapore.

Costing us about £43 for two, I think, for a private cabin with bathroom/shower.
