Is it worth taking a snorkel to the beach at the Shangri la Rasa Ria? Looking to be able to snorkel from the beach but won%26#39;t pack it if there%26#39;s not much to be seen!

don%26#39;t think there%26#39;s any snorkelling to be had at the rasa ria beach ... you need to head to the tuanku abdul rahman park for that

Just got back from Rasa Ria, no there is no snorkelling as the water is quite murky off the beach. They do run day trip to Pulau Gaya, but I can%26#39;t tell you how much does it cost!

totally agree, no snorkelling off Rasa Ria, too much wave action to be clear. Water is clean.
A trip to the islands off Kota Kinabalu will give you the snorkelling and the kit is included - I would suggest a trip with Downbelow Divng, they a super snorkelling day trip.
