Cash Machine in Kota Bharu/Besut?

Hi

We will be flying from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur then to Kota Bharu and then getting a taxi to Besut to get the boat.

Where is the best place to get cash out?

Also, we were thinking about taking some alcohol with us and we know its expensive there - does anyone know the best place to get this - I am guessing at Singapore airport?

There will be ATMs in the airports, I would use them.

As you will be flying international from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur and then internal to Kota Bharu you will need to buy your duty free in Singapore. You don%26#39;t say who you are flying with, as this might be an issue. If you are flying with Air Asia or Tiger you will need to clear customs etc on your arrival in KL, then check in again for your next sector, so then will need to buy your duty free at KUL LCCT, because the stuff you bought in Singapore will be confiscated unless you put it in your suitcases to be checked in. If you are flying Malaysian from SIN to KUL to JHB you will be still be clased in transit within KUL KLIA and so you will need to buy in Singpore. Hope that makes sense.

You can get cash out at Kota Bharu Airport ...if i not mistaken,there have ATM Maybank.

The nearest ATM machine Kuala Besut at Kampung Raja..just 10 minutes by taxi..if you out of cash..that is the nearest ATM.

Thanks for your replies and yes do understand what you mean about rechecking in luggage etc with alcohol.

We have decided yet who we are flying with will definately bear that in mind.
