Penang at New Year with 6 and 8 year old

Will this be ok-we don%26#39;t want rowdy or parties.

Also how long to stay with this aged children?

you don%26#39;t say which hotel in Penang you will be staying at, as different areas have different levels of %26#39;celebration%26#39;.

Most of the rowdy stuff happens in the Padang in Georgetown and it%26#39;s where they have the fireworks, and partying in Upper Penang Road. Most of the hotels in Batu Ferringhi have %26#39;dos%26#39; but it%26#39;s all pretty low key, compared to Georgetown, and Kuala Lumpur, or else where in the world.

Unless the children like a good rowdy party, I don%26#39;t think you will have any problems or issues.
