Resorts for a family of five

We are looking for a four or five star resort anywhere in Malaysia flying from the UK for 14 nights in July 2009 which is competitively priced.

We have three young children (ages 7,4 and 3).

We would like to share the same rooom/suite without being too cramped.

We would also like the resort to have a kid%26#39;s club.

Are you able to help please?

It will depend on what your actual budgets is when you say ';competitively priced';, it would be better to know the your actual 拢sd.

The hotels that instantly spring to mind are the Pelangi in Lanakgwi, and then the Golden Sands or Park Royal in Penang. Langakwi is a much more laid back place than Penang, with the better choice of beaches and probaly more suitable to your childrens ages, Penang does not have such clear water and has a lot more to do and see. Both hotels have restaurants just outside so there is a good choice.

Why not check these hotels out to see if they are in your budget or appeal.

Both Langkawi and Penang are easy to get to from Kuala Lumpur, which is where you will have to fly into from the UK (be it with budget airline Air Asia from Stansted or the many National Carriers from LHR or LGW that fly to KUL - as take it you will be flying from one of the London airports)
