getting to langkawi and other ideas!

Hi. we are looking at planning our honeymoon in oct this year, and wondering if anyone has any recommendations as to good places to go and stay. at this stage looking to go to kota kinabalu for 7 nights, then possibly penang for 5 nights. would love to go then to langkawi but not sure if it is worth is or is it better than penang? Cant seem to find much info on either and how to get from penang to langkawi. otherwise if anyone has any other options or ideas would love to hear them!! Thanks a lot!

OK, I%26#39;m from Penang. Living in Langkawi for 10years now and travel to K.K. once a year for climbing Mount Kinabalu.

Borneo (K.K.) is great for white water rafting, trekking, mount climbing, Orang Utan Sanctuary, Para gliding, long house stay, associating with the indigenous people of Borneo and everything got to do with nature.

Penang is an Island of 300sq km and with a population of 1.2 Million. Busy Busy Busy! Having said that, Georgetown, the capital city of Penang, is soaked with culture. She is a melting pot Anglo-Malay/Indian/Sino culture. You%26#39;ll enjoy that.

Sea is Penang though is very murky.

Langkawi is resting, quite and (for me), healing destination and time to spend time for yourself. You can still go on romantic sunset cruise here, couple spa-ing here, zipping for adrenaline rush here, Kayak on mangrove here, helb walk, nature walk or just do nothing and relax in a natural environment.
