Family reunion, the lion dance, firecrackers, mandarin oranges, the Chinese New Year, this year my family celebrated at the Pulai Springs Resort, they ensured that the most fascinating aspects of Chinese tradition and rituals were highlighted. Red lanterns in the lobby, panels inscribed with calligraphic characters bearing themes of happiness, wealth and longevity; and a greeting card from management sending best wishes. This year was truly a rest for me as I had no cooking to do, Pulai Springs did it all, the food was fabulous as well as the surroundings. We have decided we will do it again next year.
