My Partner and I are visiting KL and Langkawi in July for our Honeymoon - (we are 2 women).
We were wondering if there are any gay/lesbian bars in KL or Langkawi (Pentai Chenang)? Are there many other lesbians there? Is it gay/lesbian friendly?

Because Malaysia is a muslim country, homosexuality is not openly flaunted or discussed. That said, my gay friends usually hit Frangipani on Changkat Bukit Bintang in KL. There%26#39;re a couple of other pubs but I don%26#39;t remember them. Side note: PDA not encouraged and frowned upon, even between straight couples. As long as you%26#39;re sensitive to your surroundings and the people around you, you%26#39;ll both have a blast!

to add to Jules excellent post, you will find Langakwi very reserved to gay couples compared to KL. Just be respectful to the muslim country and you will have a great time.
