Good place to rest and eat from Singapore to Melaka

Hi all,

Will be driving to Melaka from Tuas checkpoiont and along North South. Is there any nice restaurant/cafe along the highway which I can divert for breakfast before going all the way to Melaka? Will be stopping once only.

Kindly provide me the name of the place or restaurant so I can enter into the GPS for bringing me there. Thanks!!

Your only choice is to stop-over at one of the Rest and Service Areas (RSA) along the North-South Expressway.

Most Malaysians generally do the stop at Pagoh, which is roughly halfway between KL and Singapore. The Pagoh RSA is between the Pagoh and Tangkak interchanges.

There is no restaurant/cafe along the highway, there are food and drinks stalls at the Rest and Service Area along the highway. You can get a variety of (mostly) Malay food, like nasi lemak, nasi campur and roti prata for breakfast.

Just look out for the rest and service area sign when driving along the north south highway, no need the GPS.

From Singapore to Melaka, driving via second link, along the north south highway, there are 4 RSAs - Gelang Patah, Machap, Pagoh, Ayer Keroh.

I%26#39;m not sure how early and where do you depart from Singapore, and what time do you prefer to have your break. The first RSA after Tuas checkpoint is at Gelang Patah, might be too early for your break. The one at Pagoh(still in Johor, but almost reaching Melaka) is probably too late for your break. So, I%26#39;d suggest make a stop at Machap%26#39;s RSA.
