help please with Pacific Regency suites

Hi,

Can anyone let me know what floor the Superior and the Deluxe rooms are on in the Pacific Regency Hotel.

The hotel itself said they were on the 24th to the 36th or something. So my question is whats underneath, is it offices ect.

Is it in a good area.

If you had your choice which hotel out of Novotel Istana or Pacific Regency.

The Pacific has really good reviews on both Trip advisor and asiarooms.

Thanks guys

Hi Pauline, (long time no see), I didn%26#39;t think the Istana was a Novotel hotel as the only hotel that comes up on their web site is the Novotel KL or Hydro Majestic, but I could be wrong. I%26#39;ve contemplated the Istana and Pacific Regency as well, I like the look of the PR rooms, but have not done as much research of Istana (obviously didn%26#39;t jump out at me to look any further at the time). What criteria does the hotel have to have??

help please with Pacific Regency suites

Hi

Hydro Majestic Novotel is not the Istana they are very seperate hotels and about 200m from each other.

The Pacific Regency is not as near to Bukit Bintang as the Hydro Majestic Novotel or the Istana.

As Sunsests says, is it the location or the price that is key?

Hi Lee,

How did Phuket go, we had a great time as usual.

Price and locality I guess are the first preference but the Pacific Regent have huge rooms compared with the others. They are all the same price range from per room inc breakfast for $1260 to $1350 for Deluxe rooms but we can get the Istana club room inc continental breakfast only for $640 each from Flight Centre.

Istana - Novotel have average size rooms but are good enough it is just that I looked at the Pacific and saw the size of their rooms and wow they are huge about 70m2 or 750 sq feet being greedy I suppose.

So where are you off to next obviously KL, when will you be there.

Thanks for all your help everyone

Pauline

Hi Pauline, the rates for Istana, are they for a weeks%26#39; stay? The club rooms are actually quite affordable and have got nice views of the twin towers. They are going for only RM 480 nett per room per night including continental breakfast.

To the original posters question about the Pacific Regency; well the hotel/service apartments actually take up the upper floors of an office building complex called the Menara Pan Global. So what%26#39;s underneath is essentially offices.

The Pacific is a bit out of the way, being halfway up the Bukit Nanas hill. It is however very close and within walking distance of the K.L. Tower and of course it has the wonderful Luna Bar on its rooftop with its magnificent view of the KL skyline.

A bit of a long walk to get to the monorail stations or to Bukit Bintang.
