Can anyone recommend a hotel or guest house for one night in Kota Bharu on the way to Perhentian Islands? We would like somewhere 3-5 stars, clean and comfortable so we can get a good rest after our long flights. We would also like to be able to walk to shops etc and to get a meal in the evening and somewhere with a nice breakfast would be a bonus.

I highly recommend Suria Hotel at Kota Bharu Bus Station.The rates around RM90 to RM150 per night.its very convenience to get what you want..very closer to Taxi Stand and Bus Station..its the perfect place for transit.
