Can anyone offer advice on transfers to hilton Batang Ai Longhouse from kuching.Hoping to travel in april and would like to know approximate costs of transfers.

If you%26#39;re staying there for only one night, you could rent a car and self-drive. The roads from Kuching to Batang Ai is good and you will pass through other smaller towns along the way. There is a guarded parking area next to the point where you take a boat to the resort.

Driving there is easy. It only gets tricky at Serian as it is a small town you will be passing through and you may take the wrong turnings at the roundabouts. Pay attention to the road signs, some of them are small and difficult to spot but you could always stop somewhere to ask if you%26#39;re not sure.
I don%26#39;t know about British licenses but I have friends from Australia who have rented cars and drove with their AU licenses before, no problems. You could always check with the rental companies you intend to go with. Try emailing one of them (Hertz, Avis, google their phone numbers).
