Has anyone stayed there recently. Is there a big difference between the garden wing and the rasa wing. Which is best for children?

Stayed there in January 2009.

The Rasa Wing is far superior to the Garden Wing. The rooms are finished to a higher standard with better toiletries etc, and are in most cases larger. The facilities of the Rasa Wing Lounge are great and offer free soft drinks / tea / Coffee during the day, a wonderful afternoon tea with cream cakes etc, evening canap茅s and alcoholic drinks, breakfast at either the Ferringhi Grill or the Spice Market. The guests in the Rasa Wing also have access to their own pool which does not allow children under 16 - this is strictly enforced.

The Garden Wing is better for children as they are not allowed to use the Rasa Wing pool.

The hotel is well located along Batu Ferringhi, at the quieter end of the beach / road, and easy walking distance to a range of restuarnts / eateries and the night market.
