Taxi from KLCC to Novotel

Hi, we arriving at about 11.15 pm (if Air Asia is on time) so am wondering what a person would expect to pay from KLCC to Novotel for a taxi. We are two adults and one child (aged 13). I have a fixed price of 150 MYR and was wondering if this is in the price range. It was 120 MYR but as we may be using the taxi after midnight (due to length of journey) it is now 150 MYR.

Thanks in anticipation

MYR60-70 before midnight %26amp; MYR90-100 after midnight for a standard ';budget'; taxi. The fare depends on the time you board the taxi and not the time you arrive at your destination.

Taxi from KLCC to Novotel

Hi

Just to confirm that you mean LCCT and KLCC.

KLCC to Novotel is walkable in about 10-15minutes. KLCC is where the Petronas Towers are located. Easy mistake to make with all these initials.

The fares quoted by SP are correct and cheaper than your quote. So guess you need to decide if you want to find the face in the crowd for 150myr or go directly to the taxi counter at LCCT, pay your money, get straight into the taxi and save a few ringitt.

Other than the bus that takes 60mins to KL Sentral and will then require another taxis to your hotel, there is no easy way to get to KL city other than a taxi. It will take about 30-40mins at that time of night.

Have a great time.

If you are arriving on an international flight, you will use the newly extended section of the LCC Terminal. You will purchase your coupon just before exiting the secured area.

The inconvenience now is that the budget taxi rank is situated near the domestic arrival/ general departure area. There is no proper pavement, ramp etc for trolley and at some parts you just roll along the road tarmac; its a big mess at the LCCT at the moment.

Most of the taxis are fairly new Proton Saga which are supper light weight vehicles but the drivers wouldnt hesitate to drive at 150km/hr. I dont feel very safe in these taxis to be honest.

Not sure how the hotel car will pick you up or if they use a better vehicle. The driver might meet you first and drive the car over, or he may walk you to the carpark opposite. If they use a decent vehicle, it may be worth considering paying the small premium and get to your destination in one piece !
