Getting from one place to another

OK, need your help please.....

Arriving in Sandakan early in the morning. Planning to go direct Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre for the morning feeding session.

Also thinking that overnight at the proboscus monkey sanctuary would be good, incorporating a feeding session there also.

Want to go to Sukau and stay possibly at the barefoot lodge and do river cruises.

Then back to Sandakan and Agnes Keith House and WW11 memorial park. We don%26#39;t fly out to KK until late in the evening.

My problem is - how do we get from place to place reliably and

at a reasonable cost?

If we have our gear with us (ie not staying around Sepilok) is there somewhere we can store our things while spending time at the orangutan centre?

Take the express bus from Sandakan to your desired destination.reliable,comfortable and very reasonable fare.

Check it out at Sandaken airport left luggage facilities and manning time(might not work round the clock to retrive your luggages???

Getting from one place to another

When we visited the Kinabatangan area, our transport to/from the lodge was taken care of when we booked our stay. Ask about the transfer when you book your accomodation. We took the boat from Sandakan to the lodge, and it was great because we saw quite a few prob monkeys on the way, plus it was much nicer than travelling overland.
