Singapore to Mersing by bus

Hi ,

Could anyone tell me which is the best way to go to Mersing from Singapore ?.I%26#39;ve to arrive in Mersing at 12 o%26#39;clock to catch my boat to pulau Besar.It%26#39;s better take the morning Express bus from Golden Mile (at 06:30)or go by taxi to border ang take a taxi from Johor Bahru to Mersing and how much will cost this?

Singapore to Mersing by bus

Just get a bus from Singapore, less hassle than to catch from Larkin. Many tour agencies offer buses from Singapore to Mersing. I usually travel into Malaysia with AsiaTravel, they have very well maintain buses (most Singapore buses are well-maintained) and their service has been very good. Also close to Orchard Road (the office is at the lobby of the Grand Central hotel; nearest mrt Dhoby Ghaut). Look here for the bus fares:
