I am planning to visit Langkawi during 2nd week of April and will be staying there for 3 to 4 nights. We are a group of 6 adult and a kid of 2 years. Can anyone suggest a good hotel or motel type to stay right on the beach? My budget is US$40 to US$50/night for a room including breakfast.

We want to rent a car, so going to the city should not be a problem, right? Thats why would prefer hotel on the beach with sea facing balcony and big windows to see the sea.

So that should be RM150-RM185 per nite per room. For that price you should be able to get Holiday Villa Langkawi, Sunset Beach Resort, Beach Garden Resort, Langkapuri, AB Motel, Best Star, Mali Best %26amp; a few more.

For 6+1 you should rent a SUV or a small van. A car would be too cramp.

Also thanks for your suggestion on renting SUV, we will do that. Any suggestion from where to rent it from and how much will it cost per day?
