Transportation to 1Borneo

Hi all.

I have read somewhere that there is a shuttle bus that calls in at the major hotels in KK then to the 1Borneo mall.

Has anyone had any experience of this or can point me in the right direction for information? Also, what the costs would be?

There are 6 of us travelling to KK this summer (4 adults and two young children) and did not want to be relying on using 2 taxis all the time. Thought that the possibility of a shittle bus would be very helpful.

From what i gathered there%26#39;s a free shuttle bus from Shangrila Tanjung Aru, Sutera Harbour and Centrepoint Mall in downtown KK.

Here%26#39;s a (less confusing) schedule, which is much newer as well.

I often see the shuttle bus around Terminal 2, so I%26#39;m not sure if there%26#39;s another - not so public - schedule for if you%26#39;re staying at 1 of the hotels there.

Hello ';Life is 2 short';,

I stayed at 1 of the hotels at 1Borneo last October %26amp; utilised the free shuttle bus to commute between KK town %26amp; the hotel.

From 1Borneo to KK Town:

1) Approach the Concierge counter at the ground floor (next to Dome Cafe) to obtain a ticket. Concierge will issue you a ticket according to availability (it%26#39;s a 20-seater bus). If the time that you want to board is not available, you will be issued the next timing.

2) Board the bus at the entrance next to ';Crocs'; shoe shop. Look out for the signage on the bus %26amp; confirm that it is heading for town. (There is another shuttle going to the local university nearby.)

From KK Town to 1Borneo:

1) Obtain a ticket from the information counter at Warisan Square Block C 1st floor. Look for the Starbucks %26amp; ';Secret Recipe'; cafe. There is a small stairway next to it that leads you to the office upstairs (1 floor up). You may be required to produce your room key or keypack to prove that you are a hotel guest. Otherwise, you may be charged(something like RM2 per pax)

2) Board the bus from the same drop-off point that you alighted (outside Guardian Pharmacy). Please be at least 10min ahead of the schedule as the bus leaves promptly, especialy at night when there are fewer passengers.
