Hello, We are planning a day trip to Bako National Park. Looking for a good Tour Company or guide, to take us there, for the day. Has anyone got any ideas. Very much appreciated.. Thank RSA

You don%26#39;t really need a tour company or guide.
Just get to Bako Bazaar as early as you can in the morning. Bus takes 40 minutes and leaves from the Open Market by Electra House. Taxi is a bit quicker but costs lots more...... rm45 sticks in my head???
Once you get to the main building in Bako Bazaar, just register and pay the fee - all very straight forward.
Next, you get on a boat - this takes you to the park and cost rm9 per person one way.
Arrange with the boat man to pick you up later in the day. For info, if you catch the public bus back, the last one leaves at 5pm - so you need a boat at about 4.15pm. You may also ask your taxi driver to come back and collect you at a
pre-arranged time.
When you get to the park HQ, pick up a map (these are good and quite accurate), sign the book with your route details and go walkies.
Make sure you have a couple of bottles of H2O each. There is a small; cafe where you can get lunch and drinks.
Look in this forum for tide times - these will impact on your planning.... Low tide might mean a walk across the %26#39;beach%26#39; (take sandles as well as walking boots) - High tide might mean choppy boat ride.
