brill, thanks.
no slippers or crocs or similar..(for skybar at least)
dont worry, crocs will never happen..... they are evil things..... definatly part of the dark side....haha.
HI
The Skybar is not an extra of the club room but free to all commers. The Club rooms are worth the extra.
We find flip flops / thongs and shorts are not allowed in most club rooms. Some club rooms insist on long pants for men.
A funny story from a club room in KL during a recent stay.
I had a tattoo done on my ankle, we walked back to the hotel my leg covered in Bepanthen and wrapped in cling film / glad wrap and some surgical tape - very attractive. I was wearing flip flops / thongs and knee lenght shorts which was easier to have the tat done. We went into to the club room of a 5* on Bukit Bintang for a quick cooling drink. As we walk in, the young man on duty in the club room leaps up and says, ';you can%26#39;t come in here like that';, Oh no I think, the cling film, ';sorry Madam, you can not come in here with those shoes and shorts';. Thank goodness, I said to my husband, as least I can keep the clingfilm on. Well, we thought it was funny!
I also have to agree about the Crocs!!
lol, very funny... id better invest in some combats methinks, im going to borneo on the trip aswell so it should cover both, tho im gonna wear jeans in the traders....
LOL, great story. We are also staying at Traders and are pretty casual so it is all good to know. We are off to Borneo afterwards so not packing too many glam dresses!
cheers
