Planning a wedding

Hi,

I am moving to KL in August and am planning on getting married mid December on one of the islands - is this a good time? As I will be living in KL would it be possible to arrange all of the paperwork prior to getting to either Langkawi or Kota Kinabula. I want to have the ceremony and reception for up to 30 people on the beach. I have been searching and comparing all of the resorts, I am leaning towards the Rasa Ria but really like the look of the Dakai or the Westin. I am looking for a cost efective and memorable package.

Any ideas? Please help!!

Yes! All the paperwork can be done in KL. Your coices of resorts are splendid. But Nexus Karambunai in KK %26amp; Tanjung Rhu Resort in Langkawi are also worth considering.

T.Rhu is an excellent choice as the beach it the very best on the island and they are very professional in this matter. But expensive, Datai is of course excellent as well but if you are a bit more on a budget, stay in what ever hotel fits your budget and think about doing the wedding at Casa del Mar. The beach is beautiful and the way they set it up is great. And this will not bankrupt you!

sure it is correct that the month of December is one of the busiest but as you start your planing early it should not be a problem. December is the month where you have a very good chance to have a lot of sun.
