How to get to Poring from Tuaran?

I will be going to Tuaran from Kota Kinabalu on Sunday morning, 22nd March to see the Sunday Market (Tamu).

How do I get to Poring Hot Springs from there?

I am travelling alone and taking a taxi will be too expensive.

Can anyone help?

How to get to Poring from Tuaran?

From Tuaran, you could get on a mini-van and head to Ranau. The bus ';depot'; is on the street behind the main street in Tuaran.

From Ranau, you need to get another mini-van to Poring. Best if you could charter a mini-van, as it is rather difficult to get transportation back from Poring.

You would have to ask yourself whether it is worth the hassle... much better to have your own transportation despite the costs.

How to get to Poring from Tuaran?

Using the poster%26#39;s advice above, if you can make it to Kinabalu Park HQ, you can make use of SSL transport from there to Poring and back. It%26#39;s a slightly more expensive option (RM30 according to their website), but potentially less hassle.

On the way back, you can catch a number of transportation options from Kinabalu Park HQ back to KK (long distance buses, minibuses, etc.)
