Nice beach quiet area but with stuff to do

Hi will be in malaysia for 7 days july 09 and we are looking for a nice beach holiday for a rest. Would like something quiet but with stuff to see. Have been to Penang but Langkawi decent hotels seem to be booked up. Any suggestions. we will have a teenager with us so any advice much appreciated.

Well Langkawi is a good choice for your critera... it is quiet, yet there are things to see and do. I%26#39;m sure there are hotels available at that time. Try the Berjaya, it shares its beach (Burau Bay) with only one other hotel and is set in a nice jungle like environment. At the higher end, there are hotels like the Andaman or the Datai at Datai Bay and the Four Seasons at Tanjung Rhu.

East Coast Island would be best beaches such Perhentian Island,Redang Island,Kapas Island and Lang Tengah Island.From Penang you take flight direct to Kuala Terengganu..fly with firefly much cheaper..its take 1 hour journey..
